Search & Selection sometimes processes public data. This may include, for example, information that is subject to publication requirements, such as the publication of your appointment as a company director, or information that you yourself have made public, such as information on your website.

Depending on the situation, Search & Selection requires certain information from you in order to be able to offer its services. The information that Search & Selection requests and with which we can identify you is called personal data.

Search & Selection processes this personal data in accordance with the purposes mentioned under point 2. Only employees within our organisation who need your personal details in the performance of their duties will be able to consult them.
In principle, your personal data will not be passed on to other parties. When organising events, we may, however, pass on your personal data to external parties who organise the events, purely for organisational reasons and also for reasons of security.

Your personal data will be kept for as long as necessary in order to achieve the objectives as described under point 3.
In any event, we will retain your personal data in accordance with statutory deadlines and any applicable limitation periods. E.g. for invoices this is 7 years.
You can review your data If you want to see which personal data we process about you, you can do so by exercising your right of access and you can obtain a copy of the personal data that is collected. Search & Selection will give you a complete overview of the personal data that are kept about you. We can already confirm that no special categories of personal data are kept (such as race, ethnic origin, health data, data on sexual orientation, etc.).
You can have your data corrected If there are changes in your personal data (such as contact details, job title, etc.), you can have those corrected or completed at any time.
You can request to transfer your personal data directly to a third party If you wish, you can ask us to transfer the data you have provided us, to you or directly to a third party. The General Data Protection Regulation provides a number of limitations to this right, so it does not apply to all cases. This has to be examined on a case by case basis.
